Boston College Is The Real Deal

Although, I think LSU is probably the best team in the country, I must admit that last night's come-back victory by BC against Virginia Tech was what a great team must do. Did Boston College play their best the entire game? Not even close, but in the driving rain it is hard to get any kind of offense going and really the conditions were perfect for Va. Tech to pull off the upset. Va. Tech is led by their defense so the rain helped stop a powerful offense for all but the last 3 minutes of the game while there offense did not have to do much but get 10 points on the board and they should have been set for victory. That is until, my new top Heisman choice, Matt Ryan, led his team on two drives that may be remembered as the come-back of the year. The last throw by Ryan was one that many pro quarterbacks could not make and yet this senior quarterback made a, running to his left, on the far left side of the field, throw back to the opposite side of the field about 30 yards down field for the game winning touchdown. The play is impossible to describe and must be seen on tv. It was awesome. If Boston College wins out then they deserve to play for the national championship and this come-back victory will be a game that all will never forget.
