I know everyone in Cincinnati seems to think that Chad is a God and is perfect but he is a problem in the locker room. Yes, the Bengals won on Sunday against a bad Jets team and Chad behaved himself, but the problem remains. If Chad continues to act selfish then this team must get rid of him. I know you think this would ruin the Bengals, but on the contrary I think it is just what the doctor has ordered.
First, every week we hear that this offense is based on timing. If the timing is not there then the Bengal's offense is worthless. So how can having a receiver who only goes hard when he is happy and sometimes runs the wrong routes helping with the timing that this offense needs? It isn't and in fact is a reason that Carson has looked so bad at times. This offense needs receivers that Carson can rely on like Payton relies on Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison. Payton does not even have to look to see where his receivers are because he knows where they will be, this is mainly because they always go full speed and run the right routes and make the right reads. Chad has shown himself not to be like these receivers and if your offense relies on timing then Chad has to go unless he changes and grows up.
If the Bengals trade Chad, it would allow them to pick up a draft pick or two or maybe get a defensive player that can help sure up the biggest problem on this team which is the defense. The Bengals do not need Chad, they have TJ and could draft another receiver or go out and get a number two receiver and let Holt and Henry take the third spot. This Bengals team needs leadership not problems in the locker room and a receiver who decides what route he will run and when he will run hard or not. Let's get rid of one problem and help fix another.
