Reds Down 6-0, Come Back To Win

After 1 and a half innings the Reds looked to be as bad as they have ever looked. I mean, their dependable number 2 starter had given up 6 runs through 2 innings ad the Reds were down 6-0 going into the bottom of the 2nd. In their half of the inning the Reds cut the lead to 6-2 and Victor Santos came in to start the third in relief. Victor went the next four innings giving up 1 run. The Reds battled back and in the bottom of the 8th they were down 7-5. Thats when the Nationals looked like the Reds, two outfields miss a flyball in the gap in fear of running into each other which allowed a runner on first base to score and gave Hatterburg a double. Then Valentine hit a two run home run that just hooked inside foul pole to give the Reds an 8-7 win. David Weathers came in and closed the game out in the 9th and the Reds came away with a very improbably win to start off the four game series with the Nationals.
