I am reading and hearing people say that the Reds should fire Krivskey and get Walt Jockety now that he has parted ways with the St. Luis Cardinals. I do not believe this would be good at all. Wayne has brought in great players like Hamilton, Phillups, Keppinger, and Hopper. The great pick ups he has made are incredible and far outweigh his public speaking problems. Krivskey may not be like-able but he has proven to be a great evaluator of talent and has made some very good moves. He deserves the chance to try and finish what he has started....
On the manager situation I think it is clear they are waiting to see if La Rusa will be on the market and if he is I suspect they will offer him the job, if he stays with St. Luis then I think Mackanin and all other candidates are on even terms for the job...
