Homer Gets First Major League Win!
Tonight Homer Bailey went 5 innings giving up 2 runs. He struck out 3 batters and walked 4, one being intentional. I think it was a very successful outing for Bailey. I expected him to get hit around because of the sold out crowd and all the pressure. Instead he battled his nerves pitched well. His only downfall tonight was that he continuously fell behind in the count and his pitch count rose very quickly which is why he only pitched 5 innings. Overall I was very impressed and the Reds bullpen saved the game holding the lead and the Reds won 4-3. Great win now hopefully they can get their third win in a row tomorrow.
