#1 Mint Slewlep
- Not of the same caliber as the rest of this field
- 2 wins in 7 tries for career
- Big longshot
#9 C P West
- Same as above and is coming out of the same race as Mint Slewlep
- 1 win in 5 starts
-Longshot
#6 Flying First Class
- Early Speed but doubtful that he will be able to hold on late
- Both Races that he was in with Curlin, Curlin beat him by 13 lengths both times
- Longshot but will be early pace setter
#2 Xchanger
- Early Speed as well
-Lost to Curlin by 12 lengths in Rebel and also lost to Scat Daddy by 13 lengths.
- Longshot but will be with Flying First Class early
#3Circular Quay and #5 King of the Roxy
- Both Todd Pletcher Horse look to be coming slightly off the pace and have a shot in here although not a great one at winning. My favorite of these two would be King of the Roxy who has been very competitive in the big races in California.
-Circular Quay could improve and run better since the field is not as large as in the Derby
Include both horses in bottom of Tri's and Super's
THE TOP THREE
#7 Hard Spun
-Will Be there Early like in the derby but look to sit just off the pace and stalk the leaders early
- This race is slightly shorter than derby so maybe he can hold on better this time at the end when Curlin and Street Sense come charging
- Must be considered for win after the Derby is a definite for exacta's and tri's
#8 Street Sense
- Had perfect trip in derby and was best horse on that day
- All signs pointed to derby can he repeat that performance
-The favorite but not my selection
#4 Curlin (MY SELECTION)
- Was right behind Street Sense going into the turn for the homestretch in the Derby but was boxed in on the rail in the 20 horse field in the derby. Once he got a clear run down the stretch he closed fast for third.
-Will stalk the leaders and be mid pack down backstretch but look to get a better ride this time and have a full out charge going when they come around the turn
- Will be coming hard down the stretch with Street Sense trying to get to Hard Spun

My Complete Selection
1st Curlin
2nd Street Sense
3rd Hard Spun
4th King of The Roxy

Thats... 4-8-7-5
